Bev’s Hills – Week 7

What did the overly excited gardener do when spring finally arrived? He wet his plants!

Morning Furness, today is a VERY important day because…

NOMINATIONS FOR THE JCR ARE OPEN!

Yep that’s right, if you want to run for a position in the upcoming JCR elections, you can nominate yourself on this website: http://nominations.lusu.co.uk/nominations/board

Good luck to anyone running, and if you have any questions at all, email our Chairperson Nick Dearman via [email protected]

Nominations close at 4pm on Friday!

Hustings

Hustings will help you to make the best decision when voting (and also be a really good night).

‘What is Hustings?’ I hear you ask? Once the period for nominations for positions is over, Hustings is the chance to hear all the candidates ideas. Each candidate will present a short speech, and you’ll have the chance to ask them questions about what they’ve said. It’s a way to help you make the best choice possible when it comes to voting.

It’s no joke when I say that Hustings is one of Furness’ biggest events of the year, on a similar level to the 15 Hour in importance and fun!

Make sure you’re there, with all your flatmates and friends for what is going to be an awesome, awesome night.
