Tom’s Social Review

Hi losers, as your Social and Events Officer I am constantly updated on the socials of the other colleges because I have to sit through a boring meeting on Wednesdays. Luckily, this means I can review these socials for you so you don’t have to go.

Room for Thought

New estimates claim that during their lives, 1 in 3 people will suffer from a mental health disorder. In spite of these staggering figures, there still remains a huge social stigma surrounding mental conditions. Every day people face discrimination from family, friends and society as a whole for something that they have no option but to suffer from. As someone who has suffered from mental illness for a long time, I have felt how hurtful people’s comments can be and how much it can actually hinder personal recovery. This needs to stop.

Hello Furness!
