With endless costume possibilities, we’re expecting big things in the fancy dress department this year. We’ve also got some incredible music acts for you this year with the likes of DJ Caino, Phil Rostance & The Marshall Band, Cleopatrawr, DJ Hecs and Katie Walker. It’s an event that will be simply out this (or any other) world!
Graduation Day is one of the highlights of the College year, and we look forward to sharing this big occasion with our Graduands, their families, partners and friends.
Closing date for ceremony ticket requests is Friday 11th April 2014. Two guests are guaranteed, and any extra ticket requests will be dealt with by our Central Ceremonies Office after the initial allocation has been made.
The Furness College ceremony will take place at 4.30pm on Tuesday 15th July.
Our College will be holding an Afternoon Cream Tea before the ceremony, starting at 1.00pm. Information and booking form are being sent to home addresses over Easter. This is always a really popular event, and tickets are on a first come first served basis. Tickets cannot be purchased on the day.
Good luck to all our final year students with their exams, and we hope to see you on Graduation Day.
What better way to end our second annual Action for Happiness Week than coming down to Trev on the evening of the 7th of March for an evening of classic entertainment in the form of Paul Palmer’s Jazz quartet.
Paul plays regularly at Zefirelli’s in Ambleside, at the Keswick Jazz Festival and last summer he played at Lancaster Jazz. His regular haunt is Hope and Anchor in Ulverston, but he plays throughout Cumbria and Lancashire.
