It’s that time of the week again! Alcohol should be served in Capri Sun pouches. That way, when you can no longer get the straw in the hole, you’ve had enough.
Hustings!
We had a great time at hustings yesterday. Positions for 1 Social & Events Officer and 2 Sports Officers were up for grabs and everyone running did a great job. Highlights included Tom Capon sucking a lolly live on Skype, a dance-off and numerous attempts at the worm. If you’re quick you should be able to see our Snapchat story to see what went on if you couldn’t be there. We’re ‘furnesscollege’ on Snapchat.
Voting is open between 10am Tuesday and 4pm Friday. Furness have started a bit of a tradition of having the highest voter turnout, let’s keep this going! CCO elections are also taking place, hustings for those positions is tonight (Monday 9th) at 6pm in George Fox LT1.
Extrav
Tickets went on sale for the extravs on Saturday, as you are hopefully aware. It was pretty insane and we sold out after 10-15 minutes of them being on general sale. Exact time TBC. We’re thrilled to have sold out so quickly and would like to thank everyone who bought a ticket. It promises to be a fantastic night, we’ll see you there!
