Beach Party Bar Crawl – THIS FRIDAY
It’s been too long since the 15 Hour Bar Crawl, so our socials team thought they’d treat you to another bar crawl! This Friday we’re going to be dressing up in our sunniest attire and taking the campus bars by storm! Come to Trev at 7pm where we’ll be starting the bar crawl with FREE SUGAR entry to anyone who buys a drink. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed and we’ll have free inflatable galore, so make sure you don your snazziest sunglasses, Hawaiian shirts and swim shorts. More details on our Facebook event.
JCR Elections and General Meeting – NOMINATIONS OPEN THIS WEEK
Do you want to make a difference to your college? This week nominations are open to run one of three wonderful positions on the JCR! If you’re interested in one of the below positions, feel free to contact any of the persons listed for more information on what their role entails.

– Media & Communications Officer (Grace PB or Mike Suffield)
Hustings (where candidates will be required to make a small speech) will take place at the college General Meeting – 6pm Tuesday Week 8 in the TV Room. Voting will be open from Wednesday to Friday Week 8 and winners will be announced on Friday evening in Trev. For more information please see our Facebook event.
Merchandise Sale – THIS THURSDAY
Are you graduating soon and want a little something to remember us by? Or maybe you just want to show off how proud you are to be a Furnessian? Then come down to the Foyer this Thursday where we’ll have a whole host of items for sale, including mugs, pin badges, fleeces and t-shirts from old events. Canal Cruise
Fish & Chips, Boat, Quiz, Prizes… what more could you want?! On 15th June 2016 we’re hiring the Kingfisher boat for an evening cruise along the Lancaster Canal. You’ll be served award winning fish and chips, and there’ll be a quiz where you can win prizes! Don’t worry, drinks will be available to purchase on the boat! We’ll be departing at 7:00pm and returning 9:40pm, and we are subsidising this event so the cost is only £10 per person! Don’t miss out, as places are limited. To book email Bev at: [email protected]
