Roses
A massive thank you to everyone involved in Roses, whether you were competing or supporting, it was a great weekend. Although the end result wasn’t what we’d have liked, there were so many amazing performances throughout the competition. Bring on Roses 2016!
Sports Results
An update on Furness sports for you: Women’s Darts finished 4th, Men’s Darts finished 3rd. Women’s Pool currently 3rd, Men’s Pool A’s currently 6th and Pool B’s finished 6th too. Football A’s finished 3rd, Football B’s finished above Cartmel (yay). Netball A’s and B’s finished in good positions in their respective leagues with C’s having it all to play for with 5 games left. A superb effort by the sports teams is reflected in Furness finishing above Cartmel in 7 out of 10 leagues!
Pub Quiz
We started our new league table for the term last week, and on Wednesday the pub quiz continues with London as the specialist topic. Come on down for a break from revision, you can view the facebook event here
