I hope as many of you as possible made good use of last week’s free just play scheme, for some of you it may have even sparked up an interest and you will continue to go, I for sure am going to keep going back to hockey!
15 Hour Bar Crawl
I’m sat here writing this section from my bed on the Sunday afternoon after our bar crawl, how many other people spent Sunday in bed?
Thank you to all the on and off campus pubs/bars/clubs that accepted us all on mass on Saturday and congratulations to those who lasted 15 hours…or even 20? Make sure to fill in your tops to state how long you actually lasted!
Thursday’s turnout was fantastic, it was so good to see so many of you interested in being reps for our first years arriving in October.
In case you didn’t have the chance to come to the talk, you can still apply to be a Rep. Application forms are available at the porters and need to be handed in by this Friday (week 6). Pub Quiz/Gin Festival
There will be no pub quiz this week due to our Gin Festival but please make sure to come along and support our beloved Trev’s festival, as a fond lover of Gin I will be there, will you? 101 different types in 4 days, challenege accepted J
Event is up on our Facebook page for ‘Ginfest101’ hosted in Trevor from the 22nd to the 25h of February. Make sure you hit attending and invite all your friends along from across the whole university, an event that is sure to not disappoint.
Battle of the Bands
Bailrigg FM are hosting this years Battle of the Bands. One heat will take place in Trev this Tuesday. There will be a guest college judge and a Bailrigg FM Judge also. If you have a band, prepare a 30 minute set and sign up below for the chance to win a d ay in a recording studio.
